I’m a Mom, a knitter, and code/tool oriented web designer. I've been fluent in writing for the web since 1998, or HTML 1 or 2 for those who speak geek. I've kept up, most of the things that I do now involved comprehensive CSS and usually some php or other scripting customization.

I work independently and with other IT professionals to help clients design, or re-design their web site either with static HTML and CSS (for style) or a database driven software tool (e.g. Drupal or Word Press) to allow clients to organize and communicate their ideas effectively, and update their web pages on the fly.

What does that mean? I know how to write web pages from scratch, but I find most people prefer to use CMS, blogging and web based tools to update their own sites. I help my clients find the right web tools meet their needs, then we link them together and customize them to fit the project at hand.
